डेली मेल की शनिवार (13 मई) की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, चीन के हारबिन मेडिकल विश्वविद्यालय के शोधकर्ताओं ने कहा कि देर से बिस्तर पर जाना नुकसानदेह है, क्योंकि यह शुक्राणु विरोधी एंटीबॉडी के स्तर को बढ़ा देते हैं. यह एक प्रकार का प्रोटीन है, जिसे इम्यून सिस्टम द्वारा उत्पन्न किया जाता है. यह स्वस्थ शुक्राणुओं को नष्ट कर देता है. पहले के शोध में पता चला था कि एक व्यक्ति जो आठ घंटे की नींद ले रहा है, उसकी तुलना में छह घंटे की नींद लेने वाले में शुक्राणुओं की संख्या 25 फीसदी कम होती है.


इस शोध का प्रकाशन पत्रिका 'मेडिकल साइंस मॉनिटर' में किया गया है. इसमें शोध दल ने 981 लोगों के नींद के तरीकों की निगरानी की. इसमें 981 स्वस्थ लोगों को एक निश्चित समय 8 बजे से 10 बजे, 10 बजे से मध्यरात्रि या इसके बाद बिस्तर पर जाने के लिए निर्देश दिया गया. वैज्ञानिकों ने उनके नियमित शुक्राणुओं के नमूने लेकर उनके शुक्राणुओं की संख्या, आकार और गतिशीलता की जांच की. सोडायुक्त कृत्रिम पेय से हो सकती है नपुंसकता

विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि एस्पार्टामे में मौजूद फेनिलएलानिन और एस्पार्टिक एसिड ऐसे दो अमीनो एसिड हैं, जिन्हें दूसरे अमीनो एसिड के साथ सेवन करने से कोई हानि नहीं होती, लेकिन जब इन्हें बिना किसी दूसरे अमीनो एसिड के साथ लिया जाता है तो ये फ्री रेडिकल्स का उत्पादन तेज कर देते हैं, जिससे कोशिकाएं खत्म होने लगती हैं.

वैद ने कहा, "शुक्राणु और अंडाणु भी कोशिकाएं ही हैं तथा कृत्रिम पेय के अत्यधिक सेवन से इन कोशिकाओं के खत्म होने की आशंका 90 फीसदी बढ़ जाती है. चिकित्सक और विशेषज्ञ हमेशा यही सलाह देते हैं कि ऐसे खाद्य या पेय पदार्थो का सेवन न किया जाए, जो फ्री रेडिकल्स का उत्पादन बढ़ाते हैं."
